G Bar and Kitchen

Still thinking about the amazing dinner I had here last weekend! This is a great spot, the cozy bar is perfect with stellar bar staff. The mussels were so good that I was ready to head back over the next day for more. Everywhere does brussel sprouts these days, but G bar does them best!

Had a lovely dinner here with my hubby. This was our first visit and really enjoyed. All the food was really good and our server was great. The menu was clearly labeled for gluten free options.

Peppardelle (never had it before) was very good. Sauce was very flavorful and the spicy sausages were well prepared. My father had the haddock with the mashed potato and he said it was very good as well. The dumplings were also pretty good. I’d definitely dine here again!

This was such an incredible experience. Our drinks, appetizer, and entrees were better than my partner and I could've imagined. The staff was incredibly kind from the moment we entered until the moment we left. A lot of the staff have been working there for 5 years so they were passionate and informative about the restaurant and what it has to offer. & Our server, Bill, was the greatest, shout out to Bill! We will for sure be back.

Anyone living in or visiting Swampscott would be quite delighted to eat at the exceptional G Bar Restaurant! Located quite close to Fisherman’s Beach, G Bar is lovely and formal without being fussy! Tables are laid out in a civilized manner! We did not have a reservation and the hostess was kind and accommodating! Marla, our server, was sweet and efficient! The food is marvelous! I loved my Chicken Milanese! My brother was super happy with the scallop special! My Mom had a fab looking Burrata scampi! We shared the warm berry bread pudding with Schlage! So delicious! Parking is not particularly easy but there are spaces. The restaurant had a lively bar! We will absolutely be back! A new fave in Swampscott!

We spontaneously stopped at G bar for a first time...but DEFINITELY NOT THE LAST TIME visit. We were thoroughly pleased! We sat outside. Harry the server was phenomenal and Sheila was a joy!! The owner Teresa was the quintessential of warmth and hospitality! She has an amazing team working there! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious! I forgot to take pics of our entrees but took pics of everything else....especially my delicious Limoncello Martini!! Thanks G Bar for a wonderful spontaneous summer dinner outing!!...Calvin (like in Klein) Cherry (like the fruit)!!

We had an incredible experience at G's Bar and Grill last night! From the start, the spicy tuna tower was absolutely to die for! Our entrees, the chicken milanese and papardelle, were hands-down the best we've ever had. Dessert was a highlight too - the lemon bread pudding was fantastic. And the espresso martinis were a perfect way to cap off the night. But what really made our evening special was the warm hospitality from the owners. They took the time to come out, introduce themselves, and thank us for coming. It's clear they care about their customers and take pride in their restaurant. We're already looking forward to our next visit to try more of their delicious menu items. Highly recommend G's Bar and Grill you won’t be disappointed

What a fabulous spot- certainly a local gem that rivals any Best of spots in Boston. This was my first experience (recommended by a local) and it didn’t disappoint! Service was friendly, attentive and informed. The menu was varied with loads of delicious options. We tried the tuna tower and I loved the shrimp limoncello! The G cosmo was fabulous. Looking forward to going back again.
